The Main Line Health Medical Plans allow you to reduce your out-of-pocket costs when you receive care from providers who participate in a Main Line Health preferred network. You can search for preferred providers using the links below.
If you elect either the PPO Select or
PPO + HRA plans,
you can minimize your costs by selecting a Delaware Valley ACO Network
(DVACO Network) Primary Care or Specialist Physician or by having your care provided by a
Delaware Valley ACO Network participating facility.
Using a home hospital designated DVACO Network facility is your lowest cost option.
Your facility search results will indicate each facility's home or non-home status for all providers.
Both the PPO Select and
PPO + HRA plans also provide coverage
when you use providers in the Independence Blue Cross Personal Choice Network, but you will pay more out-of-pocket.
Please click Independence Personal Choice to leave this website and search for Personal Choice providers.
Facility, ancillary and provider participation in
or any of the health plans is subject to change at any time.
Please verify a provider's participation status with their office and/or health plan
prior to scheduling a visit.
Note 1: While Rothman physicians participate in the DVACO Network, the Riddle Surgical Center (Rothman at Riddle), located in Riddle Health Center 4, IS NOT a Participating Facility. Facility charges in the form of co-pays and deductibles will apply.
Note 2: Some DVACO Network participating providers perform procedures in their own non-participating facilities where you will incur a higher facility charge. For the lower out-of-pocket DVACO level of coverage, the procedure must be done in an DVACO Network Participating facility. The Paoli Surgery Center located adjacent to Paoli Hospital is an example of a non-participating DVACO facility physicians may use. Discuss with your physician the options for having your procedure done in a participating facility.
Note 3: Quest Labs is no longer a participating Independence Blue Cross laboratory provider and is considered out-of-network. Use a participating DVACO lab facility or LabCorp laboratories (Independence Blue Cross’s exclusive laboratory services participating provider) to minimize out-of-pocket cost.
Note 4: There are no Durable Medical Equipment participating providers in the DVACO Network. Please review your benefits enrollment material for more information about the Durable Medical Equipment coverage available to you under the medical plan.
Note 5: Not all anesthesia providers in DVACO non-home facilities are DVACO providers and you may incur a higher
member responsibility. For example, Wills Eye has satellite surgery centers outside of their
center city Philadelphia main campus that may not use DVACO anesthesia providers. If services
are provided by a non-home DVACO anesthesia provider the member will incur higher out of
pocket expenses for those services.
